UPMC Mercy is currently hiring a full-time Professional Staff Nurse to support its 8E Surgical Acute Care unit!
8E is a 46-bed Acute Care Unit specializing in urology, maxillofacial, ophthalmology and general surgical care. Our highly skilled nursing team provides post-operative care including but not limited to frequent assessment and management of surgical dressings, incisions, complex wound and drain care, central lines, PCA and IV, pain, and medication management. 8E is a fast-paced environment offering the opportunity for nurses to gain valuable knowledge and experience working with a diverse and complex patient population using a team-based approach to care. A positive and supportive environment is fostered, emphasizing strong teamwork and the sharing of knowledge among all disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes. 8E is a great fit for graduate or experienced nurses to expand their clinical knowledge.
