Professional Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a newly qualified SAIPA trainee or candidate with completed SAICA articles and strong accounting experience. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, ensure compliance with accounting standards and deadlines, and support junior staff development.

Key Duties

• Supervise monthly accounting functions
• Review management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and Annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS for SMEs
• Oversee statutory submissions and assist clients with accounting software support
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and service delivery
• Supervise and train junior staff and SAIPA trainees, delegate tasks effectively, and contribute to process improvements within the practice
• Support management with advisory and client-focused projects
