Production Supervisor - Welding

**Position Summary:**

Under minimal supervision, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of materials and products. Applies knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, equipment and fabrication requirements. Analyzes work orders, blueprints and sequence of operations required. Organizes and maintains production schedules

**Essential Functions of the Job:**

+ Determines staffing levels and manpower schedules based on workloads and knowledge of products and materials. Maintains operating schedule relative to production demands and deadlines.
+ Requisitions supplies such as weld deposition materials, gas, fixtures, etc. Understands and supports procedures for maintaining inventory accuracy. Ensures work orders and material transactions are accurate and complete.
