Position Description: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that production schedules are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role reports to the Operations Manager and involves guiding a team of production workers, coordinating with other departments, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
• Provide support to recruit and train new operators.
• Assigns responsibilities and oversees the daily workflow for production.
• Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
• Make recommendations to Operations Management on coaching/counseling for production staff.
