Summary This position is located at US Mint, Manufacturing Directorate - West Point - Production Division. As a Production Machinery Mechanic, you will receive assignments that are designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skills needed to perform higher-level assignments. As overall knowledge and skill is gained, more reliance will be placed on the incumbent until full responsibility for assignments is assumed. Responsibilities As a Production Machinery Mechanic, you will: Troubleshoot and repair techniques, inspection, loading and maintenance operations in the production of coins, sorting, coin destruction, shipping & receiving, upsetting, stamping, die control, packaging, laboring and the use of other equipment and machines.
