Production Accountant

Illumination is currently seeking a Production Accountant to join our team in Santa Monica. This position will support the day‑to‑day operational accounting functions for Illumination’s animated feature films. This role is a dynamic and exciting position at the intersection of our Santa Monica office and Illumination Studios Paris production teams.

Responsibilities

• Process cast and crew payroll, accounts payable and all payments related to production
• Execute weekly accounts payable for production and studio teams such as, but not limited to: paying invoices, setting up vendors, initiating, and finalizing all paperwork
• Prepare cash flow forecasting, funding requests, and funding reconciliations
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries with supporting backup, ensuring that correct account codes are utilized, and transactions are accurately explained and supported
