The Product Safety Associate supports and manages Product Safety activities at Merz Pharma Canada Ltd., ensuring compliance with Health Canada, FDA, and European guidelines for both pre‑ and post‑marketing vigilance across all Merz Therapeutics products (drugs and biologics). The role serves as a safety database SME, handling collection, processing, follow‑up, and post‑market regulatory reporting of adverse events and pregnancy reports for all marketed and investigational products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Adverse Event Case Processing and Oversight: Independently analyze and accurately process adverse event reports daily from all sources, assess complex medical information and relevant lab results, enter the report in the safety database, write comprehensive narrative summaries, and conduct follow‑up.
