Product engineer

Overview

GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for supporting launch of new products by working in conjunction with Engineering and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities Work with internal and external partners toward a timely execution of prototypes Develop and manage new product designs from concept to mass production Develop detailed product specifications, drawings, BOMs, and coordinate with tooling as needed Maintain the highest level of craftsmanship and quality in the development and introduction of new products Create accurate engineering specification drawings with minimal direction Make modifications to existing CAD drawings to support manufacturing and purchasing maintenance Manage all CAD activities within a project Participate within cross-functional product development teams Set an example for others in attitude and high standards of quality and output Seek to improve technical and organizational skills through educational opportunities Coordinate with Quality to assur...
