Program and Position Overview

The Process Improvement Fellow works at the Program HQ in South Africa and reports to the Chief of Staff. The fellow serves as an internal consultant and improvement partner to Leads across the organization, collaborating to simplify, document, and standardize core processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Leads to identify and simplify or eliminate unnecessary complexity in processes, providing evidence-based change recommendations.
• Improve and essentialize documentation within LJI’s ecosystem, ensuring standards are clear and concise.
• Standardize high-variance processes across diverse field contexts.
• Support the Core Process Improvement Audit cycle, analyzing results and following through on improvement priorities.
• Build organizational capacity by developing shared language and lightweight frameworks for process improvement.
