Job Purpose
- To lead, manage, and develop the Transport Planning function, delivering transport strategies, policies, and projects that support sustainable travel, improve the public realm, and contribute to wider organizational objectives. The postholder will provide expert professional advice on transport planning matters, oversee complex programs and projects, manage resources and budgets, and build effective partnerships to deliver positive outcomes for local communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Transport Planning team, providing effective supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus.
- Manage team resources and workload allocation to ensure service objectives are achieved.
