Principal Network Engineer Architect

Our Client is seeking a fulltime Principal Network Architect responsible for the design, implementation, and long-term ownership of Next Generation 911 (NG911) network architecture. This is a hands-on, principal-level individual contributor role that combines deep expertise in cloud networking, SIP/VoIP telephony, and mission-critical infrastructure. The role partners closely with the NG911 Product Manager, who defines product strategy and priorities, while owning the architecture, deployment standards, and technical execution required to deliver scalable, secure, and highly reliable NG911 services.
Key Responsibilities

+ Design and own end-to-end NG911 network architectures aligned with NENA i3 standards, ESInet integration, and state-specific requirements.

+ Architect and implement highly available AWS network solutions, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, load balancing, and security controls.
