**Purpose and Impact:**

Amentum is seeking a motivated and experienced Linux Systems Administrator for a small, diverse team that provides end-to-end software, systems, and network engineering services to support Integrated Discovery Operations (IDO). You will lead, evolve, and maintain a dynamic, modern DevOps architecture, often based on open-source technology and not relying on corporate baselines, to support software developers, phased system upgrades, compliance, and improvements aimed at ensuring continued execution of the IDO mission. We aim to improve availability and reliability, reduce latency, and optimize performance, while maintaining the security posture.
