Principal Engineer, Tunnels & Underground

The position of Principal Engineer provides expert technical and project management skills to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi‑disciplinary engineering consultancy in Malaysia and across international markets. This role is responsible for reviewing key projects, developing concept designs in conjunction with the team as required, and contributing to targeting and securing new work. A Principal Engineer provides significant supervision, leadership, mentoring and coaching of other staff. The Principal Engineer contributes to managing a variety of divergent activities (within a discipline), providing technical expertise, supporting strategic direction, and providing supervision and leadership to employees within the discipline, ensuring deliverables meet applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements and relevant international standards.
