Principal Consultant - Data Architecture & Strategy

We are looking for a Principal Consultant to join our New Zealand Data & Analytics team in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. This senior role requires data architecture expertise, a consulting mindset, and the ability to think strategically while staying hands‑on with technical delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design of modern data architectures across operational and analytical use cases — including lakehouse/medallion, dimensional modelling, and integration design
• Run discovery and data maturity assessments, producing data strategies and roadmaps that clients can actually act on
• Stay hands‑on and contribute directly to platform build on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks and Snowflake alongside the delivery team
• Build data governance, master data management, metadata management, and data quality into every solution design
