Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a neuropsychologist or clinical psychologist with relevant neuropsychological assessment skills and experience to join the Younger People with Dementia Service (YPWDS). The service offers assessment and support to adults under the age of 65 and comes under the umbrella of the Older People's Service (OPS) in Leeds. The focus of the role will be providing neuropsychological assessment within the YPWDS as well as supporting the development of psychosocial interventions for this client group. The input of the psychologist is highly valued in this specialist service where people often present with complex mental and physical health histories, and an holistic approach to ongoing support is essential. As a senior clinician fully embedded within the team there is an expectation that the psychologist will provide psychological formulation and intervention, team consultation and training.
