Primary Design Engineer

We are looking for a Primary Design Engineer to provide technical expertise in High Voltage Primary Engineering, managing primary design for distribution and transmission systems (22kV to 500kV).

Responsibilities

• Develop primary engineering deliverables including substation layout design, clearances, short circuit force calculations, lighting calculations, and earthing.
• Act as Lead Engineer for projects within defined packages, delivering on time and on budget.
• Provide technical direction to design teams, including engineers in our Global Delivery Centres, and interact with other disciplines (civil, structural, secondary).
• Manage and undertake technical reviews of deliverables.
• Attend and participate in project and client meetings.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, scope development, pricing, and occasionally lead proposal coordination.
