Primary Care Physician

The Barrie Community Health Centre is seeking full-time or part-time permanent Physicians to join our interprofessional team at our new site.

The physician works in collaboration with nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, dietitians, diabetic educators, physiotherapists, and community health workers to support the health and wellbeing of individuals and families.

Members of the inter-disciplinary team assist with forms, non-medical needs, and allied health support around social complexities.

BCHC physicians work within an interdisciplinary team and are provided with dedicated time for documentation, care coordination, and complex care planning. The model allows comprehensive care without rushed visits.
