Vacancy Description
We have an immediate position open for a **Preventive Maintenance Mechanic** to work on our fleet of trucks **in Centralia, WA.** Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply.
**Pay and Schedule:**
+ Pay will start between $25-32/hr (DOE)
+ Shift is **Monday - Friday** from **2 PM -12:30 AM, with a rotating day off**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform **preventive maintenance services and mechanical repairs** on fleet vehicles and equipment
+ Familiarity with **Cummins, Paccar, Freightliner and International systems** a plus
+ Conduct **routine safety inspections** to ensure compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards
+ Review and complete repairs identified on **Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)**
+ Complete accurate documentation using **fleet maintenance software** , including parts usage and labor time
