Press Assistant
Shift: 1st, (7am-3pm)
Pay: $17-$18/hr
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Press Assistant to join our production team on 1st shift. This position works closely with the Press Operator and Press Manager to support daily pressroom operations and ensure efficient production flow.
Job Description:
- Remove printed product from the production line and stack onto pallets
- Maintain a continuous supply of paper and pallets for production
- Assist with press make-readies, operation support, and basic maintenance
- Help maintain proper ink and water balance to support print registration
- Assist the Press Operator with changing folders and lap folder setup as needed
- Label, wrap, and identify unfinished paper rolls using shrink-wrap
