Title: Assistant Teacher: Preschool
Job Description:
- Completed Associates, or enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. (3-4 yr old Lead Teacher)
- Completed Associates degree or CDA in Infant/Toddler (2's/toddler Teacher)
- Professional NY State Certification in Early Childhood Education B-2 (preferred).
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with children (ages 2-5). (Preferably in a childcare or school setting).
- Familiarity with Head Start, the Creative Curriculum, preschool assessments, creating lesson plans, behavior management and early childhood practices.
- Must be willing to complete paperwork including lesson plans, child assessments, child daily logs and classroom logs.
