**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Precision Assembly Technician** to join our team in Livermore, California. This is an **onsite** position.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
⦁ Working both independently and in coordination with engineering support to characterize, assemble, and test precision targets and target components.
⦁ Performing intricate assemblies and precise positioning of valuable, fragile parts under a microscope (from centimeter down to micrometer scales with sub-micrometer tolerances), both by-hand and with computerized control.
⦁ Operating computer-controlled LabVIEW instrumentation systems under multiple extreme conditions, such as high pressure, high voltage, cryogens, and radioactive materials.
⦁ Interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and informal sketches to perform precision assemblies, component inspections, and quality assurance workflows.
