Responsibilities:

+ Handle insurance authorization process for hospital or medical procedures

+ Work with physicians and other healthcare providers to obtain correct documentation for insurance authorizations

+ Ensure compliance with insurance company requirements and healthcare laws and regulations

+ Communicate with insurance companies on behalf of the patient and the healthcare provider

+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures, healthcare codes, and insurance policies

+ Assist physicians in determining the necessity of procedures based on health plan coverage


Requirements
MUST have LPN License.
