Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse who is diligent and passionate. The ideal candidate should have the necessary qualifications and experience to manage treatment room duties and QOF. This role is for 28.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days.
Main duties of the job
To assess, screen and treat people of all ages, including babies, children and adults in addition to providing traditional aspects of nursing care such as wound care, immunisations, vaccinations, Cervical cytology sampling and hold clinics for patients with Long Term Conditions such as asthma, heart disease and diabetes. To offer health promotion advice in areas such as contraception, weight loss and smoking cessation in addition to emphasis on promoting Womens and Mens health.
