PPM Prototype Engineer

Prototype BOM and Material control Analyst to coordinate with CFT (Engineering, Purchasing, Program Mgt, Finance and PMA) and participate in Program review meetings to ensure material orders are placed on time to meet the Material Required Date (MRD).

**ERP’s used**

+ Worldwide Engineering Releasing System (WERS), Ford Engineering Design Environment (FEDE) feeds the part-usage details to GPIRS.
+ Global Prototype Inventory Requisitioning and Scheduling (GPIRS) system for ordering prototype parts globally.
+ Worldwide Integrated Purchasing System (WIPS) feeds source details to GPIRS.

**Prototype Engineering builds:**

+ Participate in Program review meetings to understand the build strategy and timings.
+ Ensure all super long lead & long lead items are ordered as per agreed window.
