Powerplant Integration Engineer

Overview

Job Description: An opportunity for a Powerplant Integration Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team in charge of Engine and Propeller Integration. The team is responsible for the design, development, and implementation activities of the power plant for a major turbo-propeller aircraft project. The jobholder will reinforce our Engineering department, working in close contact with multiple aircraft disciplines (Aerodynamics, Structures, Systems, and Certification) to ensure a successful integration process from development to continuous airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the engine, propeller, and sub-systems (ventilation, fuel, control, lubrication, etc.) into the Powerplant and the overall aircraft architecture.
