The Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher. Under the leadership of Subhasish Mandal, the incumbent in this position will conduct research in the field of Physics. This is a full-time, 9-month, benefits-eligible position.

This position will perform research in computational condensed matter physics. The skillset requires a in Physics or materials science. Advanced knowledge of computational approaches that go beyond the conventional density functional theory is required for performing research on the topic of computational quantum materials science.
