Position Overview The Interdisciplinary Science (IS) Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a one‐year appointment with an opportunity for renewal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques for power system planning, operation, control, and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on grid applications of large language models (LLMs) and foundation models (FMs) to ensure the energy security and operational reliability of electric power systems.
