Postdoctoral Fellow – Molecular Modelling and Bioinformatics

IRB Barcelona seeks an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to join our Molecular Modelling and Bioinformatics research group. Our research focuses on molecular recognition processes of biological significance, focusing on the structure of non‑standard nucleic acids, dynamic properties of macromolecules, and protein‑ligand and protein‑protein recognition.

Responsibilities

Work on the optimisation of drug discovery through new parameters for conjugated nucleic acids in molecular dynamics simulations.

Qualifications

You have

• PhD in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Structural Biology, or a related field.
• Experience in Molecular Modeling, MD simulations, AI screening & scoring, NMR spectroscopy, Enhanced sampling, Docking, virtual screening, free energy perturbation calculations, Organic synthesis, TLC column chromatography.
