Postdoc: Circular Plastics & Carbon Economy Research

The Energy and Process Systems Engineering Group at ETH Zürich is seeking a Postdoc focused on pathways to a circular carbon economy, particularly in plastics recycling. This role involves modeling technologies and conducting assessments in an interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree and experience in process design, aiming to enhance understanding of environmental and economic assessments in the chemical industry. Opportunities to publish and collaborate with PhD students are included.

The position is full-time for 2 years, starting October 1, 2026, with excellent working conditions.
