Greenhouse Assistant (Part-Time / Weekend) – $14–$18/hr
Schedule:
• Weekends required: Sat & Sun (2–8 hrs/day)
• Watering: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (daily, minimum 2 hrs)
• Weekdays: 1–3 flexible days (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Overview
Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to support greenhouse and field operations for alfalfa breeding and plant care.
Responsibilities
• Water, prune, stake, pot, and maintain plants
• Assist with alfalfa crossing and greenhouse tasks
• Collect and process plant samples (including grinding)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and perform repetitive tasks
• Basic computer skills and strong communication
• Interest in biology/agriculture preferred
Additional Info
• PPE required for some tasks
• Background check required before start
