POLICY PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a POLICY AND STRATEGY in the Policy and Strategy Directorate of the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy Policy (DUSN-P). Responsibilities You will coordinate DON leadership participation in senior DoD executive forums and strategic meetings on policy, strategy, and resource investments led by the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, and military/civilian officials. You will analyze DoD read-aheads with Service HQ staff to conduct prep sessions for the Under Secretary and senior DON officials. You will coordinate DoD/DON strategy and policy proposals for Secretary approval and monitor national security policy development and implementation. You will analyze and evaluate sensitive matters through special studies, ensuring maritime perspectives are fully integrated.
