Summary You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVBASE POINT LOMA SEC DET. Responsibilities You will Perform a variety of routine law enforcement and security duties, such as responding to standard service calls and conducting patrols, under regular supervision while in a training and developmental capacity. You will have the ability to interpret and apply established guidelines and procedures to common incidents, referring more complex situations or deviations to a supervisor for guidance. You will demonstrate the capacity to learn and apply skills in traffic safety management, basic investigation, and the use of specialized law enforcement equipment and computer systems. You will Independently handle a range of law enforcement duties, including investigating minor crimes, managing traffic incidents, and enforcing laws and regulations with progressively less supervision.
