**Job Title: Plating Technician**
**Job Description**
The Plating Technician performs hands-on production plating work using specialized equipment and solutions in accordance with established processes. This role supports accurate quoting, resolves customer technical questions, and designs tooling and fixtures to ensure efficient and effective plating operations. The technician maintains equipment and work areas, follows all policies and procedures, and occasionally travels to meet customer delivery expectations while working closely with a small, collaborative team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform plating work using appropriate equipment and solutions as defined by the SIFCO Process.
+ Follow all specifications and requirements outlined in customer purchase orders to ensure quality and compliance.
+ Assist the Contract Service Manager in preparing accurate cost estimates for the quoting process.
