Platform Engineer- DevOps / Kafka

What you will be doing: Own and support the lifecycle, health, and continuous improvement of enterprise Kafka platforms. Administer and maintain Kafka environments, including Confluent Platform and/or Confluent Cloud. Design, implement, and optimise DevOps pipelines and infrastructure automation. Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support platform deployments. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Ansible. Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability through proactive observability. Configure and maintain monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Azure Monitor. Implement and maintain Kafka security, including TLS/SSL, SASL, and ACL configurations. Troubleshoot Linux-based systems and resolve complex platform issues.
