We are working alongside a well established fabrication company in the Newton Aycliffe area who are seeking dedicated and proficient plater

Looking to fill night shift positions however initially starting on days.

Responsibilities:

* Perform plating tasks on structural steel components.

* Reading engineering drawings

* Set up welding equipment and select appropriate techniques.

* Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards.

* Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and objectives.

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and industry regulations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Structural Steel plater or similar role.

* Proficiency in various welding techniques

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
