About the Role
Our Hamilton plant is a leading manufacturer of polyethylene pipes, and we are looking for Plastics Technicians – Extrusion to join our team. Experience with plastic extrusion would be beneficial; however, we are willing to train and develop candidates who have the willingness to learn.
Key Accountabilities
- Setting up, monitoring, calibrating and tuning all extrusion lines.
- Operating extrusion equipment to manufacture polyethylene solid‑walled pipe between 063 and 1000 mm diameter.
- Troubleshooting faults and identifying causes of manufacturing defects.
- Machine maintenance.
- Quality Assurance.
Attributes (Essential)
- Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Plastic extrusion experience will be beneficial.
