Overview
The role of the incumbent is to maintain the sieve room spare stock levels, partake in sifter maintenance, sieve stretching and general plant maintenance.
Responsibilities
Spares stock control
Sieve stretching
Plansifter and purifier maintenance
Liaise with Mill team on requirements
Conduct safety and cleanliness checks
Maintain good housekeeping standards
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Adhere to safety requirements
Conduct bin dips
Cleaning of the Mill area
Will be required to do general plant maintenance
Qualifications
Health and safety standards
Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification (Recognition of Prior Learning ( RPL ) will be applied based on SETA accreditations.
6 months experience in the similar environment will be advantageous.
Computer literacy will be needed.
Forklift license will be an advantage
