Plant Controller

Our client is an established Tier 1 automotive manufacturing company based in Strathroy, Ontario, specializing in magnesium and aluminum castings. They operate with a high-performing team and are seeking a Plant Controller to lead their finance and IT functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of plant-level finance, work closely with the CFO, and make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger)
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes
• Maintain internal controls and support annual audits
• Manage budgets and ensure financial/departmental goals are achieved
• Oversee plant IT systems to ensure they are effective, efficient, and compliant
