Planner - Buyer

Purpose:

• Responsible for materials planning and product distribution in a manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing, storage, movement, supply and shipping of materials, products & spares within a distribution center/depot. Optimizes Cost, Level Of Service (LOS) , and Inventory by analyzing company and customer needs.
• This position is part of the purchasing team, which is responsible for the procurement of material to meet production build schedules, and the management of vendor related issues associated with procurement.
