Pipe facing Machine Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate the facing machine based on pipe dimensions (OD, ID, and wall thickness) in accordance with welding requirements
• Prepare J-bevels and 30 bevels on pipes of various diameters and wall thicknesses in accordance with automatic welding procedures and project specifications.
• Set up and calibrate the Internal Line-Up Clamp (ILUC) to suit the pipe OD, ID, and wall thickness.

Preferred candidate profile

4 to 5 years of experience at offshore on pipe laying barge.
