Physiotherapist - Hospital (Casual)

The Physiotherapist will assess and administer treatment and carry out specific physiotherapy procedures upon referral by a physician. Maintain patient assessments, progress reports and statistical records. They will be ultimately responsible for providing quality care and maintaining departmental standards.

Key Accountabilities

• To assess, plan, direct, review and evaluate patient treatment on the request of the referring physician.
• To administer treatment and carry out specific physiotherapy procedures.
• To maintain patient progress reports and statistical records.
• To advise referring physician(s) with regards to physiotherapy assessment and progress in the treatment of patients.
• To liaise with other healthcare disciplines and community agencies involved in the patient’s care.
