AtlantiCare is looking to bring on a locum critical care physician to start as soon as credentialed. Practice setting: critical care - inpatient. Reason for coverage: understaffed. Dates of coverage: ASAC until properly staffed. 12-hour shifts- 7am-7pm. Average number of ICU patients per day: 9. Average number of admissions per physician per day: 3. Trauma level/designation: II. Total number of beds: 26 (unit shared with trauma team; not capped). Number of ICU beds: 26. Number of critical care physicians in group: 7, plus other APPs.
