Physician Assistant (Primary Care)

Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within 4 months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (1 to 5 years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities of the Physician Assistant (Primary Care) are: Provide comprehensive care for Veterans for a panel of patients or same-day access. Perform initial histories and physical examination on outpatients. Provide ongoing outpatient care for assigned patients. Screen outpatients to determine the need for further care.
