Location: School-based (Pattonville)

Contract Rate: $38-$45/hour

“I was really drawn to Hope because of the population we work with. I appreciate the focus on helping people stay as independent and safe as possible, especially older adults with intellectual/developmental and physical needs. What keeps me here is the relationships I’ve built with both the residents and my coworkers. I genuinely enjoy the work and feel like what I do makes a difference. I also value the work environment; it feels supportive and close-knit, like a small family, which makes coming to work that much more enjoyable. I’m very comfortable bringing things up to my managers, especially when I know it’ll be received openly. I do best in environments where communication feels easy and not intimidating, so when that’s there, I’m more likely to speak up with ideas or concerns.
