Job Title: Phlebotomist – Day Shift (Hospital Laboratory)Job Description
This role focuses on obtaining and processing blood and nonblood specimens in a busy hospital laboratory setting. You will perform venipuncture and other specimen collections, conduct screening tests, and prepare samples for both in-house and reference laboratory testing. Responsibilities
+ Obtain blood specimens through venipuncture and other phlebotomy techniques in a hospital environment.
+ Collect nonblood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing according to established protocols.
+ Perform screening tests on collected specimens and accurately report results to the appropriate medical staff.
+ Process specimens to prepare them for laboratory analysis, including proper labeling, handling, and storage.
