About us:
We investigate how cyanobacteria adjust their metabolism to survive environmental stress. We are particularly interested in the metabolic adaptation that unicellular cyanobacteria undergo under nutrient limitation. We use physiological, biochemical, and molecular approaches to investigate the regulatory mechanisms that control this metabolic adaptation. The position is part of the Emmy Noether project Metabolic foundation of developmental transitions led by Sofía Doello.
