PhD: Arctic Remote Sensing & Multi-Modal SAR for Permafrost

ETH Zurich invites applications for a Doctoral Position in Earth Observation and Remote Sensing. The project seeks to advance multi-modal SAR techniques for large-scale monitoring of permafrost changes in the Arctic, using TanDEM-X data to detect retrogressive thaw slumps across regional to local scales.

The candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering or related fields, with experience in digital signal processing or image processing, and proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C++.
