Pharmacy Technician (Non Customer Facing)
Job Description
This role focuses on accurately filling prescription vials with pills, capsules, and some liquids in a highly automated, non–customer-facing pharmacy environment. You will work with computer systems and automated equipment to process prescriptions and shipping orders efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Responsibilities
+ Fill prescription vials with pills and capsules, ensuring accuracy in drug type, dosage, and quantity.
+ Handle some liquid medications and ensure they are filled and labeled according to prescription requirements.
+ Use computer systems to read and interpret prescription information and verify medication details.
+ Scan vials and labels to confirm correct patient, drug, and dosage information prior to final processing.
