CORE JOB FUNCTIONS1. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information and maintains patient records.2. Fills orders and prepares labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals.3. Implements inventory control procedures and ordering supplies within regulatory guidelines. Anticipates pharmacy medication dispensing needs.4. Responsible for hazardous, specialized, or advanced level compounding, which may include chemotherapy, epidural, ophthalmology, CADD pumps, and TPNs.5.
