Job Title: Pharmacy Floor Technician
Responsibilities
+ Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner under the supervision of a pharmacist.
+ Pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas, including prepack racks, according to prescription requirements.
+ Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to verify accuracy before final pharmacist review.
+ Alert the pharmacist on duty to any medication or product that does not scan properly or appears incorrect.
+ Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle or dispose of them in accordance with established procedures.
+ Prepack frequently ordered medications, label them, and store them appropriately during low-volume periods.
+ Package materials and products manually following standard operating procedures.
+ Maintain designated workstation areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
